German Mother Tongue in lieu / German as a 2nd or 3rd language / German with no Academic Goals
At Learn German Singapore, we offer such courses for German language, which include learning of grammar, vocabulary and phonetics, written and listening comprehension and oral conversation. For the Primary and Secondary Students an exam is compulsory at the end of each term (12 sessions) and the results will be sent to the student’s parents and their schools.
Primary School Students
The Ministry of Education (MOE) in Singapore offers flexibility to take up a foreign language “In Lieu of Mother Tongue” (MILT) for foreign students, students who have some learning disabilities or students who have been away from Singapore for some time.
Secondary School Students
The Ministry of Education (MOE) in Singapore allows those who have done MTIL in primary school to continue learning the language in secondary school as a second language (L2). Also, those who are in the top 10% of PSLE in their school are offered a place at MOELC to take up a third language (L3).
Children whose parents desire their child to learn a new language with no academic goals.
GERMANIA, the outstanding German Classes.
The GERMANIA classes are conducted exclusively in German with focus on content-based subjects such as History, Geography etc., which touched upon lightly with extra subjects like culture and morale. The GERMANIA program gives equal emphasis to the cultural aspect of language learning through cultural activities and cross-cultural discussions.
